25 JAHRE XTERRA O-SEE CHALLENGE – UND IHR RENNT UNS DIE BUDE EIN!

Noch nie waren die Startplätze für die Wettkämpfe der XTERRA O-SEE Challenge 2025 so schnell ausgebucht wie dieses Jahr – 25. Jubiläumsausgabe, XTERRA Europameisterschaft und Deutsche Meisterschaften sind wahrlich triftige Gründe für dieses große Interesse. Leider bedeutet das auch viele enttäuschte Gesichter bei denen, die zu lange gezögert haben und so erreichten uns zahlreiche Bitten, um in die Warteliste aufgenommen zu werden, falls weitere Startplätze zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Und wir werden weitere Startplätze zur Verfügung stellen! Dieser Entscheidung gingen intensive Überlegungen von Orgteam und Rennleitung voraus, wie dies bewerkstelligt werden kann und welche Konsequenzen diese Vergrößerung der Starterzahl hat.
Im Ergebnis werden wir insgesamt 160 Startplätze zu Verfügung stellen können, im Detail 110 für Samstag und 50 für Sonntag. Diese Startplätze werden auf die einzelnen Wettkampfkategorien aufgeteilt. Die genaue Anzahl der noch verfügbaren Plätze je Kategorie ist auf dem Onlinemeldeportal ersichtlich.
Die zusätzlichen Startplätze sind ab sofort, also ab dem 10.Juli 2025, 12 Uhr verfügbar.
Wir rechnen damit, dass auch diese Plätze schnell vergeben sein werden, also nutzt die Chance. Eine Vor-Ort-Anmeldung wird dann nicht mehr möglich sein.
Aktuell gibt es noch freie Plätze für den Teamsprint am Freitag sowie für die Wettkämpfe O-SEE Family-Team und einige Kategorien der O-SEE X’Kids am Sonntag.

More slots for the XTERRA O-SEE Challenge!
Never before have the starting places for the XTERRA O-SEE Challenge 2025 been booked out as quickly as this year – the 25th anniversary edition, XTERRA European Championships and German Championships are truly good reasons for this great interest. Unfortunately, this also means many disappointed faces among those who hesitated too long and so we received numerous requests to be added to the waiting list in case more slots are made available.
And we will make more slots available! This decision was preceded by intensive deliberations by the organisation team and race management as to how this can be achieved and what consequences this increase in the number of starters will have.
As a result, we will be able to provide a total of 160 starting places, 110 for Saturday and 50 for Sunday. These slots will be allocated to the individual competition categories. The exact number of places still available per category can be seen on the online registration portal.
The additional slots are available immediately, i.e. from 10 July 2025, 12 noon.
We expect that these starting places will also be filled quickly, so take advantage of this opportunity. On-site registration will then no longer be possible.
There are currently still places available for the team sprint on Friday and the O-SEE Family Team races and some O-SEE X’Kids categories on Sunday.
